Patients experiencing adequate paralysis of the target muscle that require subsequent injections should receive a dose comparable to the initial dose.

It is important to remember not to overcorrect (overfill) a contour deficiency with Radiesse because the depression should gradually improve within several weeks as the treatment effect of Radiesse occurs.

In general, the initial effect of the injections is seen within three days and reaches a peak at one to two weeks post-treatment.
